What Happens After We Receive a DMCA Complaint

Once we receive your properly formatted DMCA complaint, we will:

  • Review the notice to verify all required information is included.

  • Take down or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the claim appears valid.

  • Notify the user or content provider who posted the material that it has been removed.

  • Allow the user the opportunity to file a counter-notification, if applicable.

Filing a Counter-Notification

If content has been removed from PPSedu.in due to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe that the removal was a mistake or that you have the right to use the material, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your name, address, and phone number.

  2. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area.

  3. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA complaint.

  4. A description of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.

  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright infringement seriously. In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, PPSedu.in has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

Misrepresentation and Legal Responsibility

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that content or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. We reserve the right to seek damages from any party that submits a false or malicious claim.
